Welcome to St. Michael's Help Wanted department. This is the place to be if you're a ministry looking for help or if you've got time to offer and would like to find a ministry that suits your time and talent.
If you'd like to place an ad, send your information to Cam Sells or drop it off in the Parish Office in the Sword mailbox. Please include an e-mail address to which your potential job-seekers may respond if possible. Your ad will be left on our Help Wanted page for three weeks unless otherwise noted.
PADS Cooks Needed

1-Oct-05Please help provide dinner for the homeless every second Thursday of the month, October through April. With very minimal time commitment, you can help St. Michael’s serve these members of our community one time or every month by signing up and delivering a dish to Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS) at Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 East Main in Barrington, between 6 and 6:30pm. (Earlier times can be arranged.) Once each month we need 3 main dishes, each serving 8-10 (Menu selections, such as tuna/salmon, ham/pork, beef stew, Italian, will be provided each month.); 3 salads (Bag salads are handy.) each serving 8-10; 3 vegetables or breads each serving 8-10; 3 desserts (cookies, brownies, sheet cake) each serving 8-10; 2% milk; additional optional items such as soft fruit. This is a great way to involve children – they can make and decorate cookies or brownies and/or help you deliver your dish.
