Our Community Thanksgiving Dinner takes place at on Thanksgiving Day – we began this event in 2006.This ministry is evolving every year with new guests and over 50 volunteers.Our guests are diversified: a busload of sailors from Great LakesNavalAcademy, dozens of children from MaryvilleAcademy, and many residents of the surrounding area, join us in the Community Room for a traditional homemade meal and warm fellowship.Holiday meals are also delivered to homebound neighbors.This is a wonderful outreach opportunity for singles to entire families to come together and create a day of warmth and welcome for those who may have otherwise been alone on the holiday.
