St. Michael's is once again taking part in the Back to School jeans collection for School District 220. Please donate new or gently used jeans for school age children, elementary through high school. Go through your closets, to resale shops, donate new item or give a monetary gift for our collection (we will do the shopping).
We have heard that blue jeans are not the only popular pant. For boys, lightweight athletic pants and cargo pants are also popular. Girls and teen girls are still looking for slim jean (sparkly for young girls), leggings, jeggings and yoga pants.
The drive runs through July 23. Last year 500 children were helped with this endeavor.
Place your donations in the green wagon in the hall outside the Community Room.
