The morning of Saturday, April 7, Team Chicago will be departing again to Porch de Salomon for a week in Panajachel, Guatemala. We're on another mission to serve "the least, the lost, and the last of these," in the words of Porch de Salomon's motto. This will be the largest group from our congregation to date; we have 16 travelers, 10 of whom are St. Michael's representatives.

We can use your help, and as before, there is a collection box parish office for vitamins, over-the-counter medicines, and medical supplies to assist medical clinic efforts. Financial contributions are also welcome, and will aid greatly toward the costs of purchasing and transporting these supplies as well as mission expenses. Prayer for our team is also very much appreciated.

Since June 2014, St. Michael's has generously supported me and others in participating in Porch de Salomon's work - we've been able to bring over 200 lbs. of supplies, and also contributed over $5000 in Outreach funds for food. In 2016 and again in 2017, parishioners from St. Michael's, St. Mark's, and several other churches came together as Team Chicago, the first group from Illinois to serve at the mission.
