Sunday, October 6 at the 10:00 a.m. service.
St. Michael's will soon be filled with the sounds of barking, mewing, cawing and snuffling as well as music and prayer as we celebrate St. Francis by blessing their companion animals - BIG and small.
The entire community is invited to join us as we gather to witness God's and the Church's love, care, and concern for all creation.
The blessing will occur as part of the 10:00 A.M. service in the Nave. After the service, let's meet in the Community Room for Coffee Hour and a costumed pet parade to be judged by The Barrington Area Animal Rescue (B.A.A.R.K. Dog Rescue) and Holly's Safe House. Their representative will judge the pet parade complete with prizes for the winners and treats for all! Put a bell on your cat, a bow on your bird or come in complete costume regalia.
