You may have heard that the Middle School and High School students have a new format on Sunday mornings. We have two fabulous new teachers handling the youth, but with busy schedules, they can only commit to two or three Sundays a month. To fill in on the other weeks we are calling on our wonderful Parish! This new and exciting format will allow the youth to connect with the congregation as well as allow you to show off your special skills.
The Youth Advisory Committee is seeking volunteers to help run these Life Learning Sundays. We are looking for parishioners who are willing to commit to a Sunday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and share their special skill. Hands on activity preferred! Some examples: a cooking class, a lesson on budgeting and finances, self-defense class, yoga, gardening, a painting class, build a bird house, an astronomy lesson, orienteering. Other ideas welcome!
