We are always looking for volunteers who would like to join one of our many fellowship ministries and service opportunities. In addition to the worship ministries (acoltyes, altar guild, choir, LEM, ushers) and others listed on the WORSHIP page, here are several more ways to Get Involved at St. Michael's. Are you passionate about technology or communications? Do you enjoy solving problems, exploring new tools, or helping others connect more effectively? The Technology and Communications Committee at St. Michael’s is looking for new members to help us build a connected, secure, and welcoming digital environment for our church community. Our mission is to support and strengthen the work of the parish by ensuring our technology is effective, secure, user-friendly, and forward-looking. From livestreaming services and managing digital communications to exploring new tech for ministry and administration, we play a vital role in how our church connects and grows.
Whether you're a tech expert or simply curious and willing to learn, we’d love to have you on the team. Come be part of a ministry that blends faith with innovation and helps shape the future of our church’s digital presence.

If merchandising sparks your interest, volunteering in the Gift Shop is the place for you. Not only are you surrounded by beautiful merchandise, but, you'll be helping our guests with choosing a unique gift for a special person, or, a special life event. All profits are donated to women's and children's charities.

Do you consider yourself somewhat of a handyman who likes to do “odds ‘n ends” type jobs? We could use someone who likes to paint, and/or, can do other jobs around the church, or, at the Sturtz House.
Our vision is to keep St. Michael’s an appealing and inviting place for growth by providing optimized and timely solutions for in-church ministries and non-regular maintenance needs of the church, properties and occupants. We also focus on enhancing parish fellowship through church wide member events and mutual accomplishment through faithful stewardship. We accomplish our work with a project management approach via distributing projects among committee members and volunteers and through mutual support and assistance. Work is authorized via a tiered cost approval and vestry approval process.
How to Get Involved: Show up and “Just Do It!” We welcome new, and past committee members and folks who are just interested or are called to do “tangible” faithful work.

St. Michael's Garden Angels is a ministry group for those who particularly spend their time and energy maintaining and beautifying the church grounds. Our mission is to:

How You Can Help:
St. Michael's Book Group is celebrating its 25th year of meeting monthly (minus COVID year) in St. Michael's library. Our book schedule, discussion leader, and meeting hosts for the next year are determined at our Christmas party in December. We read a wide variety of books, but try to include at least one biography, one literary classic, and one socially conscious book each year. Members take turns leading discussions and hosting meetings.
