“But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” – Amos 5:24

The book of Amos isn’t a “feel good” book, yet the prophet has little nuggets of truth to offer a glimpse of the world in which God dreams for us to live in – a world filled with justice and righteousness to the point that it is almost as prevalent as our next breath.

Thank you for your gift.  This supports the hard work the board of trustees at Bishop Anderson House has done and has committed itself to do in the future around racial justice.  At a time when race influences “whether we will survive our birth, where we are most likely to live, which schools we will attend, who our friends and partners will be, what careers we will have how much money we will earn, how healthy we will be, and even how long we can expect to live¹”, this work felt particularly salient in our current context.

Thank you for being a part of Bishop Anderson House’s work to further racial justice in the Illinois Medical District.
