Hello St. Michael’s!  Katy and I have returned from Arkansas after laying to rest her grandmother; she was a very special person to us as we got started in life, and I ask your prayers for the family as she will be missed!  With the suddenness of the news and our travel plans, I regret that there was no Communion on Sunday; rest assured that whenever I have the chance to plan ahead for a supply priest to come, I will certainly do so.  However, with no other priest on staff today, there may be rare times when we have to shift gears at the last minute.  

Looking ahead to this week, this Sunday is St. Michael’s Day!  Katy and I would like to invite you all to our open house (and backyard) for coffee hour after the 10:00 AM service.  Traditionally, we hosted dessert and coffee after the annual meetings, but with the continued presence of the COVID-19 virus, I think celebrating St. Michael’s Day coffee outdoors would be a better option.
